WELCOME TO ED YOGA FEST '21!

Welcome to the Edinburgh Yoga Festival 2021! It is a delight to have you here and we hope to see you in your mat on September 11th at The Edinburgh Yoga Village.

The Edinburgh Yoga Village is at The Shore in Leith using venues Custom Lane and Custom House all while conveniently the Leith Market is on just behind the venues.

The festival is a mix of grassroots and boutique feel, bringing together people of all abilities to practive yoga is a fun, supportive and nurturing environment. We have a range of classes, workshops and even a WanderWoman Scotland outdoor session (only 8 spaces available!) as we really want to showcase a diverse programme.

We have for this first year back kept the festival small, so that people feel Covid secure and also that for our special Event Support Crew, for whom it will be their first event ever, don't feel overwhelmed.

As detailed below, the Ed Yoga Fest is run by Strawberry Lemonade Events, a social entpeirse working with people whom have expereinced social exclsuion issues. We train, recruit and mentor people to work in the events industry and proudly will be having some of our Event Support Crew on site to help run the festival- social impact in action baby!!

We ask that you come with your mats, an open heart and all your patience as we cannot promise pin point accuracy this year (or maybe ever!) but what we can promise is a lot of good people working really hard to ensure you are safe and having fun- yes fun! While the world has been a little crazy these past 18 months, we promise that we have scheduled fun as our number one priority- see you at the techno/disco yoga party!

Strawberry Lemonade Events

Strawberry Lemonade Events is a corporate event agency running a host of events including the Edinburgh Yoga Festival and Bordering on Wild Sports Film Festival.

We have worked with household names including TED (talks) and Prince Harry, convinced John Bishop to sell pies at the Liverpool Christmas Market, interviewed Jamie Carragher about winning the Champions League, launched a pop up social enterprise cafe with Ricky Tomlinson and somehow convinced the world’s most decorated MotoGP mechanic Alex Briggs, to join us in Edinburgh for a night of racing stories.

Proudly, we are also a social enterprise whereby we train, recruit and mentor people facing social exclusion issues such as homelessness and mental health challenges. We do this by working in partnership with other social impact organisations and by running our “Event Management Fundamentals” course.
